However, we bring the crime to the city with our Crime Scene Investigation team building event. This is usually a daytime event rather than something to do over dinner, due to the chemicals involved in the mobile crime lab. Fingerprint dust is one of the few things that Heston Blumenthal has not experimented with in his cooking! We set up a convincing crime scene and you collect the evidence. You will test as much of this as you can in our mobile crime lab which is set up in the room. Some evidence must be sent to the lab, which is conveniently located next door so results come back quickly. Two suspects, played by professional actors, must be cross-examined. Evidence will point to one of them, or perhaps both. What will you do if the evidence contradicts your instincts? This activity sparks much discussion within the team.

Sticking with the crime theme, we can bring a courtroom drama to Aberdeen with our Trial By Jury team building event. A crime has been committed, and the accused is being brought to trial. You will take on the roles of prosecutor and jury. A judge presents the background to the case, and the accused is called into the room. Teams have the opportunity to ask questions to discover the accused’s side of the story. Then, three witnesses are called into the dock, one by one. Each will give their version of events from the fateful night in question. Timelines, alibis, and motives must all be considered. There is a final chance to ask questions of the accused, and then it is time for the verdict. One by one, the foreperson of each team will stand and deliver their verdict: guilty or not guilty. This is a fascinating event, and one that will lead to a great deal of analysis afterwards. Shifting away from crime, our Cocktail Making team building event is always well received. The Wild Eve spritz is a popular drink in Aberdeen. It is a blend of organic flowers, fruits, leaves, and seaweeds. It comes from the Isle of Harris, which is located to the north of Aberdeen, off the west coast of Scotland.
