Dorset, a county in South-West England, is one of only five English counties without a motorway running through it. The main activities are farming and leisure, and this relaxed vibe makes it an ideal location for getting away from work on a team building event. Bournemouth is a major town in the region, and the sandy beaches here can be a great setting for an event. The Jurassic Coast, with famous landmarks such as Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove is a beautiful backdrop for one of our RIB Treasure Hunts. RIB stands for Rigid Inflatable Boat, and these are speedboats with outboard motors, rigid hulls and inflatable sides. They are used by special forces, and they are a safe way of experiencing speed on the water. Our sister company owns the largest fleet of RIBs in Europe, and this means that we can cater to small or large groups for this team building event. Each team has a boat and qualified skipper, and they zip around the Dorset coast visiting locations taking part in a Treasure Hunt. One location that is fun to view from the sea is Sandbanks, home to some of the most expensive real estate on the planet.

Our Country Sports team building event is well-suited to a rural location such as Dorset. Activity choices include Laser Clay Shooting, Archery, and Quad Biking. Options involving livestock include Falconry, which includes owls, and Duck Herding. This experience involves geese and highly trained sheepdogs. Those running the activities are very knowledgeable, and the stories that they share are a big part of the show. There are around 15 different activities to choose from, so you can be sure to put together a selection of different experiences with something to please everyone in your group. Dorset is a holiday area, and a team building activity that suits this well is Ice Cream Making. We bring an ice cream factory with all of the equipment that you need to make a delicious, or challenging, ice cream. This involves coming up with a name and thinking about the branding of your product. Will you choose a traditional flavour, such as mint choc chip, or something more adventurous, like chilli chocolate? If you do then be careful not to use the Dorset Naga, which is one of the world’s hottest chillies.
