Burke and Hare were the infamous murderers and grave robbers who plied their ghastly trade in Edinburgh in 1828. Forensic techniques were not known at the time, otherwise they might have come to justice sooner. In the end Burke was hanged and publicly dissected for his crimes. Hare was released and disappeared, and his fate is unknown. Just as fascinating is our Crime Scene Investigation team building event. We create a crime scene and put down plenty of evidence. Your teams have to find as much as possible, and analyse it in our mobile crime lab. There are two suspects, played by professional actors. Questioning them will establish motives and alibis. The forensic evidence can then be used to pin the crime on one, or perhaps both, of them. This is immersive team building at its best, and everyone gets really involved in the storyline. Our Murder Mystery event is a great way of enjoying entertainment over dinner. We have various scripts available, and Traitors is our latest. One person on each table will know who the murderer is from the start, and their aim is to get him or her ‘off the hook’ without the rest of the team finding out that they are the traitor.
