Team Building in Milton Keynes
Milton Keynes has a relatively central position in England, and it is located approximately 50 miles to the north of London. This makes it a good strategic location for a national conference or team building event. Milton Keynes is a relatively new town, incorporating the much older towns of Bletchley, Fenny Stratford, Wolverton and Stony Stratford. The latter is a very old town with two coaching inns, The Cock and The Bull. It is said that the phrase ‘cock and bull’ comes from the stories told by travellers in these inns. There are many hotels in this area where rooms can be booked for the telling of stories, and land is available for team building events. Milton Keynes is just 18 miles or so from Silverstone, so perhaps our F1 Challenge would be a good activity for your team. In this team building event you create and race a F1 car, and it always receives good feedback from delighted clients. Everyone throws themselves into the task, and different aspects will appeal to different types. There is an engineering requirement, and an artistic element when it comes to creating a livery and decorating the car. All of our activities are available in or close to Milton Keynes, so use the drop down menu to navigate the choices available.
Team Building Events in Milton Keynes
Milton Keynes is renowned for its box-like grid based road system. Our Beat The Box indoor team building event may suit the town for this reason. Each team is handed a box containing a seemingly endless supply of tricky challenges. Some are cerebral, some are physical, and there are more points to be earned the harder the challenge. There really is something for everyone in this activity. Rollercoaster Challenge is another event with something for everyone. G4S chose this; ‘I must admit that I was unsure of how our people would respond to something that was quite out of their comfort zone. It didn’t take them long to get into the spirit of what they needed to do and we ended up with some interesting rollercoaster-esque contraptions! I thought Pete and the team were brilliant; they certainly got everyone motivated and the competitive streak in many of our leaders soon came to the surface. We filmed the activity and showed a short piece on the start of Day 2, and this went down a storm – it certainly got people laughing and talking about the fun they had had the day before.’
