Team Building in Newcastle
Newcastle, in North East England, is the country’s northernmost metropolitan borough. The Geordie accent has been voted one of the friendliest in the UK, and the city’s hotels and conference venues are ready and waiting to give you a warm welcome when you choose Newcastle as a team building event location. The city is an excellent setting for our Hidden Quest Treasure Hunt with castles, bridges across the Tyne, and an iconic Cathedral which can be hotspots on the route. Newcastle was at the heart of the Industrial Revolution, and the architecture and history of the city reflect this. The Hidden Quest Treasure Hunt is an interesting and fast-paced event, and the perfect way to explore the local area. Participants need not worry if they run out of energy, Lucozade was invented by a chemist in Newcastle in 1927! We provide each team with an iPad loaded with state-of-the-art software that will lead you to the hotspots and challenges, and also allows you to track the other teams. This creates a highly competitive team building event. We have variants on this theme, so you can enjoy spy events or even a Murder Mystery around the city. Team Building Events in Newcastle
Keeping with the rhythmical theme Clappity Clap is a really unique team building event involving coloured rubber gloves. Each delegate finds their own pair under their chair, and our musical director will organise everyone so that they can clap their gloves together to produce a tune. This works well as both a team building event and as a conference ice breaking activity. The end result will enjoyable, satisfying, and surprising for most of the participants. Another team building event that would suit Newcastle is Animaniacs. This is in recognition of one of the world’s most renowned filmmakers who grew up in the city, Ridley Scott. We set up a blue screen studio for each team, with iPads loaded with the leading stop motion software. You make clay models and use them in a film that typically lasts for a couple of minutes. This activity is ideal for tying your company team building in to your conference theme, or more broadly your company values. The films that are made can be based on a message, and it is a great way of seeing how your team expresses that message. We can also do this with Lego, for more of a “Lego Movie” vibe.
