Team Building in Woking
Woking is a town in northwest Surrey, and a place we regularly visit to deliver team building events. It is the home of the McLaren F1 team, and their HQ and state-of-the-art Technology and Production Centre are located just outside the town. It is the perfect location for our F1 Challenge team building event, in which your team designs and builds an F1 car on one of our pre-made chassis. These are then raced in classic soap-box racing style. Another interesting fact about Woking is that the author H.G.Wells lived there, and wrote The War of the Worlds while in the town. Teams go to these locations to collect information or complete challenges. This particular event has a storyline, based on the film The Italian Job, and the challenges are themed with our instructors dressed as characters from the film. It is great fun, made even more so because each team has the use of a Fiat 500 for the day. There is no better way of exploring the lovely scenery around Woking. The Crystal Challenge is another outdoor event that can be set up in a hotel’s grounds or other suitable event space. It is based on the TV show, the Crystal Maze, and we have a variety of team tasks that you can choose from. These are designed to call on important soft skills such as leadership, timekeeping, and communication. This team building event is the one to choose if there are specific outcomes such as these that need to be focussed on.
