The Midlands is, essentially, the central part of England. It covers an area as far west as the border of Wales and, to the south, it includes the Cotswolds. For most it is the area around Birmingham. In this large catchment area there are many excellent hotels and event centres avaliable in the Midlands. If you have chosen a venue already then we will be pleased to bring one of our events to you. If you have not yet chosen a location we will be able to help with recommendations based on our past experience. Because the Midlands are in the middle of the country this is a very good strategic location for a conference or team building event if people are travelling from around the country. The Midlands has many areas that are suitable for our Hidden Quest Treasure Hunt, and if you want to explore and find out more about a location this team building event is the perfect choice. Team Building Events in The Midlands
The UK has a thriving motor racing industry, with many Formula 1 racing teams based in the Midlands and surrounding towns like Silverstone. One team building event that you may choose in The Midlands is our F1 Challenge. Teams are given a pre-made chassis and all of the materials required to build a F1 racing car. This soapbox derby car will eventually race, under human rather than horsepower, but in the meantime sponsorship, livery and special design features are among the details that must be considered. Alternatively you may like the sound of Spy School. In the 1970s Soviet Russian spies were given maps of Birmingham which highlighted such manufacturing activities as armoury, jewellery and scientific instruments. The Midlands, then, is the perfect location for our Spy School team building event. Overseen by Quartermaster, Major Cumberpatch, teams are kitted out in camouflage overalls and given the equipment that they will need for the day’s activities. Q Cumberpatch will run through the challenges in detail; shooting, driving and command tasks will all feature in an action packed day that will leave your team at the peak of fitness for any business challenges that they may face.
