Happy Easter 2022

Carrying on from our Spring blog, we are now heading towards Easter 2022 but it would seem to be a little late this year!

Another fabulous fact for you to digest….. for the purpose of calculating Easter, the Spring ( or Vernal ) Equinox is always March 21st. In 2022 the first full moon after the 21st March is Saturday 16th April, hence why Easter Sunday this year falls on 17th April in the U.K. For Easter to fall any later than it was in 2019 (21st April) we will have to wait until 2038!!!!!

Now we have an explanation of why Easter is a moveable feast.

But what about the origins of the Easter Bunny? Perhaps this is a tradition your company has already initiated around Easter time. A member of staff dressed up in a furry white rabbit costume who delivers festive baskets full of treats? (If not, why not?) Eggs, just like the rabbit, have long been considered an ancient symbol of fertility, rebirth and new life, all associated with the Springtime celebration of Easter.
