Solent - Water Based Team Building
The Solent is world famous as a sailing and water sports area. This yachting mecca is the spiritual home of global yacht racing and the site of the first ‘America’s Cup’ race in 1851.
Today the Solent is more popular than ever and it’s easy to see why. This stunning stretch of water near Southampton is sheltered by the Isle of Wight and it is less than two hours from London. On a hot summer’s day our clients often say “we could be anywhere in the world right now!”
A combination of dramatic chalk and multi-coloured cliffs to the west, rolling hills to the south, the ancient New Forest woodland to the north and huge sandy beaches to the east means there’s gorgeous scenery all around…
The Solent has a number of idyllic creeks and estuaries to explore on a Rib Treasure Hunt, quaint fishing-ports with attractive pubs, and ‘yachtie’ Cowes with shops, yacht clubs and restaurants. There’s Southampton with giant cruise liners or Portsmouth, the home of the Royal Navy, where you’ll see HMS Victory as well as modern warships.
Solent Team Building
We offer a number of events on the Solent. For a day of seriously fun team building we have Corporate Sailing. Learn as a crew how to sail 40ft modern racing yachts before racing each other. This brilliant team building and bonding exercise is an excellent example of teamwork – clear communication and team synchronisation is essential if you want to win!
For the pure adrenaline thrill of blasting across the water in high powered speed boats, then try our Rib Treasure Hunt. In this event each team flies around the Solent on a skippered Rib powerboat using iPads, with cunning treasure hunt software.

The Parmesan Job II is our premium, flagship event; an Italian Job themed treasure hunt using our clever tablets. This spectacular day takes you from treasure hunting around the New Forest in Fiats to racing across the Solent on Ribs. We even offer an amazing helicopter ride finale, viewing this spectacular landscape from the air!
